We've been to San Francisco several times and decided to take an official tour of Chinatown. Linda our guide provided an excellent insight on the history and culture that we would have not appreciated nor recognized if we simply walked thru the area on our own. Learning about and seeing the apothacary and paper shop with spirit money were especially interesting.
